Hezekiah’s Seal Discovered in Archaeological Dig

Utterly fascinating: an impression of King Hezekiah’s seal has been found in an archaeological dig. While impressions of Hezekiah’s seal have been found before on the antiquities market, I guess the importance of this find is that it was found in situ in an archaeological site.

Don’t miss the discussion of how Hezekiah appears to have changed his administrative symbol (from a winged scarab to a winged sun) partway through his reign–and probably at the time he was saved from a deadly illness (2 Kings 20).
